When the Sainte Terre team was given the opportunity to acquire and renovate the barns and stables of the BBR Ranch for a second venue, they jumped at the chance!

Set on over forty acres of rolling hills, The Stables at Sainte Terre is designed to have a modern rustic vibe, with subtle nods to the horse ranch it once was.

Ultimately, what we love about all of our Sainte Terre Collective photographers is that they are amazing storytellers. They each have a unique style that they have curated over time - and that you just can't replicate.

That’s the only way to describe this wedding day…as one that songs are written about. Love was in the air and music inspired the decor for Jeanne + Kourtney’s day.

The pleasure of posting about Cori + Blake’s wedding day has brought back all the feels for the Sainte Terre crew. We fall in love with so many families and couples that pass through our doors, and the Prater/Meredeth families were some of those special ones!

Along with all of the excitement & well-wishes coming your way from friends and family are SO many questions! Everyone wants to know when & where and of course, “What are your wedding colors?”… it can be overwhelming.

Some may hesitate at the thought of planning a winter wedding. But we feel that winter weddings in the south (especially Louisiana) are a hidden gem!

If asked to describe this day in one word, it would have to be swoonworthy! Over and over again, we found ourselves actually swooning over these two, the weather, the decor and florals, the food…everything about this day was that beautiful!

While spring colors are lovely and bring to mind all things fresh and new, there’s something passionate and bold about the colors of fall. Once you experience fall in the south, you’ll also find there’s a certain magic.

So much FUN! That’s the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about this wedding. Taylor’s decor totally matched her personality. You couldn’t help but smile when taking it all in, which is exactly how you feel just being around her.

While classic whites dominated the overall color scheme of this wedding, you couldn’t miss the touches of something blue.

Though honeybees may not be the most obvious inspiration for wedding decor, this was something our Wedding Stylist had so much fun with! Hillary chose to use shape to bring this theme to life. With their signage, ceremony backdrop, reception decor, and even their cake, Hillary beautifully incorporated that simple honeycomb hexagon to tell this bride’s story.

Yes, something can be both simple and elegant. Just as something can feel traditional, yet modern. Madison and Christian’s wedding day was all of these things!

It was a season where the only constant was change. As we prepared to reopen safely & navigated what that would look like, Holly & Seth were so patient with us! Our focus was to create the wedding day they had dreamed of.
