The First Day of Happily Ever After

If asked to describe this day in one word, it would have to be swoonworthy! Over and over again, we found ourselves actually swooning over these two, the weather, the decor and florals, the food…everything was that beautiful!

Alexis & Jacob were high school sweethearts; together since they were 15 years old and in a time when you passed notes to each other between classes. He remembered how, even then, they talked about getting married one day and how she would doodle stick figure drawings of their wedding. And now, after 10 years together (and 3 Covid reschedules) it was finally their wedding day!

Seeing their decor plan come to life was something else that had us, yes, swooning! The wall of greenery and florals framing their ceremony was gorgeous. And that inspired theme of framed florals was carried into their reception decor. Paired with wispy, white floor-to-ceiling drapery and lush gray velvet linens, the scene was set for romance. It was a perfect, Louisiana Saturday night and a beautiful beginning to their happily ever after.
