Sainte Terre Faves: Hillary’s Picks

Sainte Terre was designed and built to be a blank canvas. Our couples provide inspiration. And Hillary, our incredibly talented designer, is the artist that turns every wedding into a unique masterpiece!

So when we asked Hillary, “What were some of your favorite design moments of 2020?”, we couldn’t wait to find out what she had to say. Scroll below to see her faves and find out what inspired her!

Sometimes the small details that most people don’t really notice end up being the most fun for me to create. I always design a custom place setting for my couples at their sweetheart table and it is typically the last thing I do design-wise before I fully kick into coordinator mode. I use this as my moment to re-center, focus, and manufacture something especially for them that is a reflection of the design as a whole. No rules…. just lovely.

One of my favorite vignettes to design is the sweetheart table. These are so different in style, but follow the same simple principle…. GO BIG!

Your cake table is definitely an opportunity to set the tone for your design and make a statement. From the cascading, ombre florals and Marie Antoinette styled cake to a growing garden of wild flowers and bold emerald velvet linen… these two brides really set the bar pretty high.

It was so much fun to create this Palm Springs meets Mid-Century Modern install! From the palette selection and color-blocking in the florals to the funky lighting, this was truly a reflection of Mallory’s fun and unexpected style.

Even though its not what I typically lean toward…there is just something about this classic, natural dance floor install that’s so striking! Give me some greenery on a white backdrop with a little hanging floral anyday!

For us, there are too many incredible design moments to count! Every wedding Hillary designs & styles is a completely new experience. Here are just a few more moments from 2020 we adored…
