Enchanted Woodland Wedding

Our wedding wizards brought subtle Harry Potter inspired themes to life with spellbinding details and magical touches.

Bride/Groom: Lauryn Gilardi & Shane Richard

Favorite Blooms & Greens: Lilac, Snapdragons, Amnesia Roses, Lisianthus, Various Ferns, Moss, Smilax Vines

Colors: Various shades of purples, lilac, dusty lavender & deep greens

Lauryn and Shane will always hold a special place in our hearts!  Lauryn’s dream of a woodland wedding was the exact inspiration we needed for Sainte Terre’s new outdoor chapel.  You could say we built it just for her!  (because, well… we did!)

Neither Lauryn nor Shane lived locally, but we knew we could plan a celebration that would be perfect for both of them and their beautiful families…even if most of our planning was done via email and FaceTime!

As the days turned into weeks, and as their date came closer, the realities of COVID began to settle in.  As it turns out, Lauryn and Shane’s wedding was the last ‘normal’ wedding we had at Sainte Terre before the entire state shut down.

It was always our plan for Lauryn to be the first to get married in the new chapel, and many prayers were sent up prior to their big day that we would see that plan come to fruition.

A woodland themed cake with one of our favorite floral details . . . japonica!

Lauryn’s vision was to bring the forest inside. Instead of garlands, we designed florals to give the perception that the forest floor was growing from the middle of the tables, complete with table top trees!
